To build the spicerack you need :
- the 2 printed mounts (the normal and the mirrored side)
- 2 rods (I used wooden rods with a 5mm diameter)
- 1 plank (I used a wooden 10mm thick and 60mm width board)
- adhesive strips or 4mm woodscrews
Cut the rods and board all to the same size (for me 500mm) and stick it all together.
I did not use any glue since the rods fit very tight in the holes and hold everything together. The board has a very loose fit but since the mounts are fastened to the wall (or in my case door) all holds together really well.
You can mount the rack to a wall with 2 adhesive strips but they need to be strong and maybe test it before you put weight on it or with two screws which should fit throgh the dedicated holes if they are 4mm woodscrews or something similar.
I uploaded the stls for two different board sizes because I also have some larger jars with spices in it.
The f3d file has modifiable parameters for
- board dimensions
- rod diameter
- height of the upper rod
- tilt angle
- tolerances to make sure the wooden parts fit
If someone needs stls with these parameters modified and does not have fusion 360 I can also upload additional stls.
