The intention for this design was to find another way to represent a coat hook without actually having a hook. I wanted this piece to look beautiful and visually interesting without a coat being present. My inspiration was from faucet handles, door knobs, and tire wheels. The visual element of the twist is meant to make you believe that these pieces are able to move on the wall. My goal is to bring the twist around to the frontal circle and make it more organic. I also would like to create multiple variations that would be placed together on a wall.
