A 15x15x27mm version of Macaque's magic latern for knitting projects or other stuff. The inner diameter of the ring is 3mm. The are no-ring version in case you'd like to change it or to not have it printed at all.

Created for SLA printing, but it works with FDM too. Thought, it's quite small for it, so you’d better turn "Print thin walls" on if you slice it by Cura

It’s a complicated object for painting so it’s better to prepare the thing beforehand and reduce the possible issues. If you see bumps after supports, remove them either with a blade instrument or needle file. Also you can try some paper sanding, but be gentle.

After it, you can apply a thin line of acrylic base or other stuff - it can reveal the places you’ve missed. When you satisfied, you can start painting

Use a needle to get into the creeks of the golden pattern. In order to paint the hieroglyph forming walls you can paint all this stuff into light pink, then make a shade of brown that is used for the wood parts, water it down and apply it in a thin layer so nothing is getting into the creeks. The model you can see on photos is a prototype that’s even smaller - it’s very hard to paint but it might be slightly easier with the final version
