you can print everything without supports if, correctly oriented.

The shovel and handel are connected with each other via the lockblock, printed with 3 perimeters and 50 % indfill, for strength and glued, with epoxy or cyanoacrylat, in place.

the cover can be slipped in place with a bit of force 

now you just scoop up the salt and shake it out for an even spread on the pavement. 

note: the cover is essential in avoiding lumps
