Summary
As a longtime archery and co-owner of bogenmiete.ch (Bows for rent) we recently encountered in a autum-camp a little problem with our material: 2 of our 40+ bows had a missing tip-reinforcement.
Darn! This means, the string gets cut in a few shots due to the sharp edge... We McGyver'ed it with duct-tape, but it wasnt a permanent solution for sure...
So back home, i started to learn FreeCAD and took on the task of creating a replacement-tip for the 2 limbs we had...
Quite a steep learningcurve for sure! :)

The resolution is not really important, but a res of 0.2 results in quite a bit of afterwork with sandpaper to round the bottom.
