Some sliding door don't have outside handle. It makes it difficult to open it from outside.

By using some double sided tape (I used nanotape and it survived 1 year exposed at the elements) you'll be able to stick it to your door. 
I made a recess for the tape to make the handle flush. It's 18mm wide and .7mm deep.

I would suggest printing it in ASA. I used PETG and it held nicely for now. 

Short : 100mm long and 17mm tall
Large : 200mm long and 17mm tall
Large Slim : 200mm log and 9mm tall
