How I Designed This

I ran the original design files (from http://forum.reprapdiscount.com/threads/full-graphics-smart-controller-open-source-files.619/) through an online Altium-to-KiCad converter (probably http://www2.futureware.at/KiCad/) and opened the PCB in KiCad. I verified that all the components had 3D models associated with them (creating new assignments where needed), exported the full model to STEP, and then used GrabCAD Workbench to convert STEP to STL.
