Attach the Dovetail portion to the back of your remote and the receiver portion to your mounting surface. I used 2 sided tape but you can use whatever you want. 

The receiver says “Samsung" on one side and "Roku” on the other but otherwise its orientation doesn't matter.  If there is demand, I can create one with no text or another brand, just ask.

I didn't add a curve to match the back of the remote but it wasn't necessary with the tape I used. Native CAD is below so feel free to customize to your remote.
