Summary
First off, sorry about the potato picture quality. More importantly, this is a camera tripod that you can actually move and pose! The real beauty in this thing is the clicking 'swirled' joints which provide endless STABLE poses for the tripod without major post-processing. I would like to give these joint designs to the community because I believe they could be very useful!
Notes: The tripod uses rubber bands for assembly, and the mount needs a remix, but I have since moved on to other projects...
Thanks for checking it out!
Post-Printing
print the following pieces:
phone mount x 1
phone mount arm x 3
joint x (6,9,or 12)
arm x (12,18,or 24, corresponding to number of joints)
feet x 3
to assemble,
-attach 2 arms to 2 joints using a rubber band to pin the joints between the arms (see image)
-assemble three arms in this way, attach the assembled arms to the phone mount, and then attach one foot to each arm
-slip the phone mount arms over the pegs on the phone mount, securing with (you guessed it) a rubber band
-go forth and capture :)
