This package consists of
- An adapter that converts a single hole on a Skadis pegboard into a ¼" pegboard hole for common 4mm-diameter pegboard hardware like hooks, tool organizers, etc.
- A slide on fastener that locks the hardware in place.
The adapter STL includes printing supports for FDM printers.
Build instructions
- Print on an FDM printer
- Cut supports off the adapter
Installation instructions
The printed adapter has a channel guide that keeps the peg hardware in place. After installing the adapter into the Skadis pegboard, insert your peg hardware into the adapter so it rests in the channel guide. Optionally, you can slide the printed fastener onto the adapter to keep the hardware in place. A stop at the bottom of the adapter keeps the fastener in the correct position to lock the hardware in place and prevent the fastener from sliding off.
- Insert the adapter into your Skadis pegboard sideways. The channel guide will point to either the left or right
- Slide the adapter as low as possible in the Skadis slot
- Rotate the adapter 90 degrees so the channel guide is pointing down
- Insert your hardware into the hole in the adapter and through the pegboard
- (optional) Lock the hardware in place with the fastener you printed. Position the ring fastener above the adapter and slide it down and over the adapter until it rests on the stop at the bottom of the adapter
