The holder is designed as a flat model that must be folded out to make an A4, 2-fold, 3-panel leaflet holder for table-top or wall mounted use. Add text as required, using PrusaSlicer, noting orientation and position, and set layer height to 0.25mm, first layer 0.25mm, 4 bottom and top layers, so no infill will be used; the first layer height is necessary to provide suitable hinging performance. The holder will hold up to about 30 leaflets when complete.
When slicing, the text should be set for 0.75mm high “added” for best effect and whatever height text you want that fits, but not too small. The text layers can be set to be a different colour with a colour filament change but you can paint over the raised text with a colour marker after printing if not. The photos show the one I made for our astronomy society's leaflets.
After printing, fold away the parts from the grooves carefully, supporting the body to avoid stressing it, and push the tabs through the slots provided. Break off the top strip and insert its tabs into the side slots. The screw slots can be folded out for wall mounting the holder. See pictures for detail.
The original was made using transparent PETG, but PLA could be used if the holder is not being placed on a windowsill in the sun.
