I designed this loosely based on a New Holland CX8, with rotating wheels and header, and extending pipe.
To attach the wheels and headers I used (4) 6x16mm chipboard screws (for the rear wheels and the header), and (2) 6x20mm chipboard screws (for the front wheels). I additionally had to slightly sand the hole that the pipe slots into, as I couldn't be bothered to wait to print another pipe again (this was my 3rd iteration).
Supports were required, especially if you print the entire thing in one go (if this is done then all moving parts are fixed), however this can be minimised if printing the individual parts by arranging them to lie on their largest faces.
My printer is a Prusa MK3, and I printed on all the generic settings for it, with organic supports on base plate only. My infill was 5% Grid pattern, with concentric top and bottom layer.
I have recently been addicted to Farming Simulator, which inspired me to design this in the first place, and I'm considering adding more equipment from the game depending on how this goes.
If you have any advice or tips for future projects then I am open to any and all feedback.
Happy printing!
