I had issues with light casting into other areas of my house from our rooms. To stop this I originally installed metal pieces like this printed one and installed with tiny screws. Nice to be able to design these and just print them. We had one issue with a canned light pretty much blinding you as you went up our stairs. The shields do great to keep light in a room but not leak it out. Phillips 4" LED lights.

Used 10mmx2.7mm magnets.

My canned light opening I designed this for is 91mm wide and has a side angle of 6º.
