I was looking for a simple cover to keep bugs and weather out of my attic when installing security cameras.  The power cable has a large connector on the end so it requires a large hole be drilled in the soffit.  I created this two piece interlocking cover to seal against the 5 mm cable and then use a #6 wood screw to attach to the soffit.  Seems to be working well.
