We're heading to a ComicCon style event later this year, and although a couple of volunteers are happy to come in cosplay, a couple aren't. But they still wanted to join in with the fun somehow.

So my idea was simple. NPC badges.

Whipped up in TinkerCAD in minutes, and our NPC volunteers are happy. And have been practicing their “Generic Shopkeeper Lines”.

The one in the photos is 50% scale, sitting on my desk next to my laptop. It's been printed in Eryone Dual-Colour Silk PLA in Red-Gold.

Hints and Tips:

• The size as-is suits using magnet attachments. Scale down to around 50% if you want it to be a badge back size!
• I recommend Ironing for the top layers to make a smoother face.
• I printed mine with a brim but no supports. This left the back part lumpy and bumpy where the printer had to bridge the gap. Great for glue.
