Tools for Tennis Racket Stringers
Spacer Blocks or Bumpers are tools for use in stringing Tennis (and possibly other) Rackets. They are placed temporarily on the string between the starting clamp and the frame during the stringing process. Two models are provided, one 5mm thick and one 50mm thick. They serve to protect the racket frame from the clamp, and they also move the clamped part of the string further away from the grommet and knot that will be tied there. This is especially desirable for some types of strings like multifilament and natural gut as the clamp marks or may slightly damage the string where it grips. Soft bumpers printed from TPU are useful for protecting the frame from clamp scratches. Multiple units can be used to increase the spacing.
The string slot is cut into the block deeply so that it will balance on the string, once tension is applied it will be locked in place between the clamp and the frame. Using a slot instead of a hole (or the commonly used length of PVC pipe) makes it much easier to apply and remove.

Spacer Blocks or Bumpers can be printed from most any filament, I use TPU, PLA or PETG. I printed mine with a Prusa MK3 using default settings, but if more durability is desired higher infill percentages (25-40%) and more top, bottom and outer layers (4-5) may be selected.
One can get any desired thickness by scaling just the Z height to a different value in the slicer.
Added a holder for the Tourna Stringmeter. This custom ring holds the meter and protects the pins underneath.
Supports are not needed if printed in the provided orientation.
