I have more tools than space to keep them organized. However, this shortcoming is not going to stop me from trying to organize things. To that end, my first stop is to get my sockets organized so I can easily find them in the toolbox.
This eight socket 3/8" tool holder does not have any sizes attached to it, as that takes expensive tool drawer space. If I have room, I will add sizes to a separate model, which can attach to the holder. Makes sense to do it that way as as it allows the tool holder to accomodate Metric and SAE sizes.
Here are the diameters each socket space can accomodate (inches:millimeter):

Added a new socket holder. This one has been designed to work with deep sockets, 6 point or 12 point, SAE or Metric, Craftsman, Challenger, or Proto sockets. It may work with others.

Today I added socket holders for ½" drive sockets. The sockets are Challenger, Proto, or Craftsman. Others may fit, but I do not have access to them to check. I decided to make them in two sections instead of a double row. This allows for the most flexible storage configuration, in my opinion.
This simply means there are two build files and associated files for both parts. The file names start with 1_2 for ½.
