When making larger frames, it's common to pair up beams. The official OpenBeam joining plates come in T and L shapes, but both of those will hang over the edge of two beams. This makes an attractive way to stiffen the structure.

Print a few of these square plates. Use them like other OpenBeam joining plates, especially where you want to connect two parallel beams.
