This model is inspired by this very sleek design. A friend wanted something similar, but with a beefier base and a lid with some text on it.  I designed this model in Fusion 360 (file attached). The tips of the pencils recess a bit into the base.

The STL file of the lid does not have any text, but the included F360 file does have placeholder text that you can modify. In the picture you will see printed versions with debossed text shown.

Also shown in the picture are optional mini toggle latches. They can be screwed into the side of the print with small set-tapping screws if you want them.

Notes

• The lid is designed to be printed with the top on the build plate. The countered area that mates with the base is designed so that you can print in this orientation with no supports required.
• If desired, you can add the latches be screwing directly into the PLA with small self-tapping screws.
