How I Designed This

drag 2 twisted polygons to workplane. Twisted polygon is located on page 8 (now on nine) in community shapes. They should import at a default size of 20x20mm

turn one polygon into hole and resize to 19x19mm

change height of hole to 25mm

move it up 2mm

select both then go to adjust and click align

align horizontally and vertically

group and you should have this

hold shift and drag any white dot and enlarge it to about 136x136x136mm

and you will need a good internet connection

Step one

sketch the pencil holder you would like to design

step two

design pencil holder similar to how I designed mine. You can experiment with it by shrinking hole more or less then I did. Change the shape to any other shape most work. It is also possible to adjust twist of polygon.

You should have a 3d-printable pencil holder when your done depending on the shape and size of the pencil holder
