I really liked the idea of the original model, but I remixed it so that each segment can snap together without any extra brackets.  I also simplified the design so each segment could be printed in vase mode resulting in 2mm thick walls.  Combine 3 segments for each extension.

I printed using the following settings:

• print the model upside down so the offset is at the top
• I used PETG material
• 0.40mm nozzle at 0.20mm layer height
• enable vase mode
• force “external perimeter” extrusion width to 1.0mm 

This will generate 2mm thick walls that seem to be plenty strong.  I've stacked these on the 5 trays so I can dry a whole drybox worth of filament: 4 rolls + desiccant.

Interestingly, with PETG material (both Overture PETG and Prusament PETG) I've noticed some shrinking/distortion of the sidewall at about 13mm up (~½").  No idea if this is a printer issue or just filament shrinking with something so thin and tall.  The result creates a perfect fit between the trays, though, so I'll take it.

Final dimensions when assembled:

• 234mm inside diameter
• 238mm outside diameter
• 57mm tall (not including 5 mm bottom lip)

Note: the model is actually 1mm larger in diameter than the above, but with PETG shrinkage seems to fit these dimensions pretty well.
