I designed this to fit on the end of a piece of conduit that I had lying around for use in cleaning out gutters.  Or maybe you need a giant-size back scratcher.  

You could scale it a little to fit whatever pole that you plan on using.  It is modeled at 0.74 inches in diameter.

The low profile design helps it to fit under the gutter hangers and it can get a good grip on leaves and other debris that clog up your gutters.  It also has a little tang on the back end that you can wrap with tape or string if the hole isn't working for you.

You might want to increase your top and bottom layer count to add strength.
