This uses the very useful VESA mount by jeffharbert to make a VESA compatible tablet mount to attach your iPad or similar to a monitor arm.
I used this dual monitor arm from Amazon and have it setup with a montior and an ipad on my desk. Quite often the dual arms are the same price as the single version.
The tablet sits on the mount quite securely and there's also a hook which you can print a couple of if you want some additional support to stop it falling forward. I tend to have the tablet sloped away from me to ensure it won't fall off, and I can adjust the hooks to allow my ipad to stay in it's case.
There's a central channel for the charging cord if you want to have your iPad in portrait mode.
This was printed to work with my regular iPad, if you want to use a larger tablet you can extend the hooks.
I kept the hook simple so it can be printed quickly on it's side. The plate prints fine without supports.
