The cleaning tips on these are both the same. Which one you print depends on what parts you have lying around. 

• The clothes pin version is more soild but does require the sping.
• The rubber band version opens further for easier cleaning. Its only needs some kind of an elastic and a dot of super glue to keep the center pin together.

Both can be printed without raft or supports.

Pictured prints were done on a Makerbot Replicator 2, 0.4mm Nozzle, and a 0.2mm layer height.
