Oscilloscope probe holders are stupid expensive, and are just 2/3rds of a tripod. So why not print a dead-simple version and call it a day?
I made these to be just about as simple as possible and as widely-applicable as possible. The tapered jaws can fit just about any kind of probe somewhere along the length, the wide legs help prevent the probe from tipping over, and the fact that this is 3D printed means you don't have to spend dumb money.
One downside of this model is that it doesn't have a tacky feet, but that could be added with just about anything. Hell - even print the thing standing up, and modify the files to add a little bit of TPU at the bottom, then switch to PLA. You could even add a threaded insert at the bottom and use a little screw-in rubber foot (I was going to originally do this, but that was too complicated and the PLA-only ones worked well enough for me). If you wanna get crazy, print these out of ESD-safe filament!
Anyway, hope someone gets some use from this.
