This is a great design, but the original model is a single piece and I'm not the kind of person to paint stuff, so I decided to break it up into individual pieces that can be printed in different colors. I also added a post to go inside the hollow upper portion to give the saber a little more heft and visual appeal. I also remade the grip so that each bulge was a little smoother. Finally, I added another button on the pommel just because I thought it needed a little something else.

All parts are in the orientation that I printed them. The only piece you will need supports on is the pommel, everything else should print just fine.

Everything went together with no problems for me, but depending on your printer things may be a little tight and you may need to remove a little material from the holes.

You will need to glue this together.

The inner_post slides inside the shroud with the neck portion at the top, and the emitter needs to be glued onto the end of the inner_post.
