This part will stop flexible TPU filament from jamming in your Tarantula Pro printer, due to it's extra length and tighter tolerances.

It is also suitable to just leave in for regular PLA prints.

The top is a bit weird because my printer had trouble printing the small pointy bits. To fix that I put a ring on top that will cause supports to be printed alongside the pointy bits, which now print much better.

Installation

To start, snap off the top ring and it's supports. Those are there to help the print but are not part of the actual build.

Then, remove the filament and bowden tube from your extruder, remove the 4 screws holding the extruder in place and remove the "lid" from the extruder mechanism.

Now slide out the cylindrical tube that sits between the gears and the bowden tube port.

Replace it with this print. You will need to pull the spring-bearing back a bit to fit it in, as it has wings the go above/below the bearing.

Make sure the gear still turns without grinding and that the bowden tube fits all the way back in, then put everything back together.
