Here is in my opinion a really cool 1969 Dodge Charger General Lee model that I made. But its not an ordinary model, because I made it out of SODA CANS!
Yup! All the painted panels are genuine 5 cent deposit aluminum cans.
It took me several months to complete it including designing before I even started construction.

But absolutely NO Corvettes! To complex.

For this project you will need...

A ton of spare time, patience, sharp scissors to cut the cans, X-ACTO knife, black and silver Sharpie markers, a ball point pen you dont care if it'll ever write again, super glue, hot glue, paints, a ruler, and around 8 25 oz soda cans.
I recommend 25 because the 16 ounce once are smaller and harder to work with and you have to cut and clue some smaller panels together to make a larger one.
For the color of the body I settled with Allis Chalmers Orange since the true Hemi Orange or Corvette Flame Red are a little out of my price range for the model.
I bought a RUST-OLEUM spray can of Allis Chalmers Orange for 6 dollars at my local store.

Cut out your paper panels like this following the edge of the lines. (I know they are crude)

PAY ATTENTION

On the model I cut these out for I used smaller cans so I had to cut the hood from the rest of the body and the fenders from the doors and quarters. Leave these attached together if working with larger cans!
