This is a dual power supply design for electronics designers.

I had a very old one and since found some pretty good modules on E-bay I decided to replace my old power supply, about 15 year old self made one :) with a new one and better performance.

I have designed the power supply case, and the active rectifier, the DPS5020 and DPS5005 modules I bought it from E-bay.

As AC power source I have used a 500W transformer, the AC voltage is rectified using an active rectifier circuit and filtered with about 70.000uF capacitor.

I have attached the schematic of the active rectifier, but of course an old style power diode rectifier would also do the job.

The first module DPS5020 is supplied from this active rectifier output voltage.
The second module DPS5005 is supplied from a secondary lower current output of the transformer, here I will use a standard rectifier diode bridge.
