A pendant based on a photograph of a pelican. The photograph was converted to a bit map with Adobe Photoshop and then to an openSCAD polygon file with Inkscape.

The pendant is constructed from two pieces, an empty pendant, and an insert. The parts are expected to be printed in different colors and pressed together. The insert should snap easily into place although it might be necessay to tap the beak with a flat head hammer.

The size of the hole and insert are ajusted with Minkowski sums; the compliment is followed by a simple sum. Details are provided in the openSCAD code. The size of the hole and insert can be adjusted to suit the printer.
