This sliding fidget uses 2×3 mm round magnets to create a smooth magnetic motion. To assemble, glue the magnets into the holes in the base with the same pole facing outward (either all north or all south). For the top piece, insert the magnets so that the opposite pole faces outward. For example, if the base magnets have the north pole facing out, the magnets in the top piece should have the south pole facing out.
