I hope this model helps. I searched (and printed) various other possible options and ultimately decided that a purpose measured approach would work best for my needs. 

It is snug on the 4" vent side, but not super tight. It is pretty fully snug on the IF2 hose. But, because we are talking about venting fumes, I went ahead and taped both ends anyway just to be extra safe.
