Parametric Planter

A simple, fully parametric planter pot designed in OpenSCAD. Customize the size to fit your needs!

Features

• Fully parametric - adjust size, wall thickness, and all fillets to create your perfect planter
• Smooth rounded edges - customizable fillets on all edges (defaults: 8mm outer bottom, 3mm top, 4mm inner bottom)
• Customizable construction - adjust wall and bottom thickness to your needs (default: 5mm walls, 5mm bottom)

Customization

Size Parameters:

• inner_diameter - Inner diameter in mm (minimum 25mm, default: 100mm)
• inner_height - Inner height in mm (minimum 15mm, default: 80mm)

Structure Parameters:

• wall_thickness - Wall thickness in mm (default: 5mm)
• bottom_thickness - Bottom thickness in mm (default: 5mm)

Fillet Parameters:

• outer_bottom_fillet - Outer bottom edge radius in mm (default: 8mm)
• outer_top_fillet - Outer top edge radius in mm (default: 3mm)
• inner_bottom_fillet - Inner bottom edge radius in mm (default: 4mm)

All dimensions are fully customizable to create your perfect planter!

Default Specifications

• Wall thickness: 5mm
• Bottom thickness: 5mm
• Outer bottom fillet: 8mm radius
• Outer top fillet: 3mm radius
• Inner bottom fillet: 4mm radius

Print Settings

• Layer height: Adaptive (0.2mm base) recommended
• Wall count: 3 outer walls
• Infill: 15-20% is sufficient
• Supports: None needed
• Print orientation: As designed (bottom down)

Notes

No drainage holes included by design - add them in your slicer if needed for live plants, or use as-is for decorative purposes or with plastic nursery pots inside.
