## Design Concept
This 3D model is designed as a compact DC motor gearbox featuring two shell parts that enclose the gears and motor securely. The design is modular, allowing for easy integration into larger mechanical assemblies or robotics projects.
## Purpose
The gearbox is intended to house a DC motor, offering enhanced gear performance, protection from external elements, and a reduction in noise. It is suitable for DIY electronics, various small robotic projects, or any prototype requiring efficient translation of high-speed motor output to torque.
## Printing Recommendations
Print in PLA or ABS with high infill settings (around 25%-50%) to ensure durability and strength. Supports may not be necessary unless printing orientations cause lack of support for specific angles. A layer height of 0.1mm to 0.2mm is recommended to maintain precision in parts that contact gears.
## Assembly Instructions
Once printed, carefully place the DC motor in the designated motor mount space and fix it using standard screws. Attach the gearbox cover and secure using screws at the provided mounting holes. Ensure gear alignment before completely securing the cover to prevent any operational hiccups.
