Design Concept
The K2 Series hot end PFTE clips are designed to securely hold PTFE tubes in place, preventing any movement during 3D printing. They address the problem of tube slippage, ensuring efficient and consistent extrusion. The black one is the original. I didn't need these until I did. The tube kept slipping out during printing. These are slimmer than standard clips. These fit the K2 Series hot end and some other places that take the same special clips. They are not easy to find or purchase. You can buy them from Creality with the connector kit or from Amazon if you are willing to pay the price. These worked perfectly on my K2 Plus. I printed with PETG.
Usage
These clips are essential for maintaining the stability of the filament path in FDM 3D printers, specifically utilized in the K2 Plus series printers.
Printing Suggestions
When printing the clips, use a material like PETG or ABS for enhanced durability under high temperatures often involved in printing projects. A fine layer height of around 0.1-0.2 mm is recommended for better dimensional accuracy.
Assembly Instructions
Simply align the clips onto the PTFE tube entry and lock them in place by pressing down gently. Make sure they are seated correctly to prevent unintentional displacements.
