Use a translucent or light-coloured filament to allow light diffusion effectively. A layer height of 0.2mm or smaller is recommended for a smooth finish, and supports may be needed for optimal printing of the lower part corners.

 

Used old battery from disposable electronic cigarette;

Charge-discharge module with 2.4kOhm R3 resistor;

RGB led strip ~20cm long (6 led's);

LED Driver module (I was lucky enough to find it from old Christmass led strip with remote so I dont need any On/Off switch).

Superglue with soda. I wanted to make sure everything would be strong and as quickly as possible. Use epoxy glue if you have more patience.

In conclusion: use your imagination and the components available to you. This project is great for upcycling electronic junk from your home or as a demonstration project for kids. Practice safety when working with electricity, especially lithium batteries.
