Summary
A propeller block is used to keep the blade from turning when removing or installing the outboard motor hub nut. Many people use a block of two by four wood, but this device stays in place on its own. A very slick and handy device, this will print out a bit heavier than expected if you use the recommended infill of 60%.
Typically, the torque required to seat the hub nut will be in the neighborhood of 50 ft/lbs. If printed vertically, this device will easily do the job without being damaged by a stainless steel propeller blade.

Print this vertically, so that the layers will end up being perpendicular to the angle of the outboard motor propeller. This will prevent the propeller blade from splitting the plastic between the layers.
Used when removing or replacing an outboard propeller hub nut, we have tested this version to more than 80 ft/lbs of torque on the hub nut, with nary a scratch. An earlier version failed at only 40 ft/lbs when made with less beefy infill and with the layers parallel to the blade.
