This is a remote control holder that mounts to an equipment rack. Since I have a universal remote and since my A/V equipment is in a rack in a separate room of the house, I like to keep the original remotes with their respective equipment, so I designed this custom holder.

Overall dimensions:

• Width: 52.75mm
• Depth: 85.64mm
• Height: 90mm
• Wall Thickness: 3mm

Inside Box Dimensions:

• Width: 22.75mm (think thickness of the remote, button side to battery side)
• Length: 79.64mm (how wide is the remote)
• Height: 87mm

A few things to note:

• I built it with flanges on each side of the box so it can mount to either side of my rack.
• Screw holes are 5mm in diameter.
• My rack is an older rack and the mounting holes are not consistent in their spacing. The holes are 75.4mm from center to center.
