Seemed to take forever to FDM print the base. Liked the design. Kept the angles, the slots and the screw holes. Just removed a lot of the material that didn't contribute to the function. Then there was no room for the screw holes so I moved them outside.
Had some porch columns that would't take the full size so I made some shorter versions as well.

Took the original base and duplicated it, then chopped it up and mooshed the pieces back together. The lower material, smaller configuration took half the time to print and seems to perform identically. Looks less elegant.
