Summary

A desk/ cubicle/ work station that can be cut from a single sheet of 4 foot x 8 foot x 5/8 inch plywood.
The M-6 Multitronic Computer started life as a case mod in 2012. It was to look like the computer in the Star Trek: TOS
episode 'The Ultimate Computer'. Dr. Richard Daystrom creates the M-5 Ultimate Computer that can command the Enterprise more efficiently than a human. When the M-5 runs amok, Captain Kirk must outsmart the "evil" computer to save the Universe.
I thought 'Why should I copy the ST:TOS M-5 when I can make a Star Trek: The Next Generation M-6 computer?'
The M-5 mod morphed into a computer desk and as tech advanced... I now intend it to be used with a mini PC under the monitor shelf. Like a Mac Mini, BeeLink or NUC.

The model was designed to be a small 30"-w (760mm-w) desk for a monitor on the top shelf, a small PC hung under the shelf, and keyboard storage under the PC shelf. It could also be used as a docking station for a laptop. The keyboard desk can slide out for use and back in for storage. (see model on the left for stored position) I imagine most people will move it once and fix it in place.

After cutting the plywood to my design, the pieces can be screwed together like IKEA flat pack furniture.
Fittings, draw slides, screws, angle brackets, glue, drill holes, etc...
... are assumed the maker can figure out what they need and where.

1. Screw the corner braces to the Left and Right sides.
2. Screw the shelf to the top of the L/R sides and corner braces.
3. Fit the rear tab of the desktop into the slots on the sides.
4. Slide desk into place.
5. Cut beams to fit between the sides under the desktop. Screw into place.

This is a mini prototype, using the 3D printer for rapid prototyping
and 3 iterations to ensure the dimensions and fit were correct.
