This piece will hold a simple pendulum from a v-suspension so the pendulum swings in a well-defined line. The pendulum length is quickly and precisely adjustable by sliding string through outer end of holder and re-clipping with a medium binder clip. Solid end clamps to a table or lab bench. L-shape minimizes flex so that masses up to 500g or 1000g work well.
