I needed an enclosure for my little microcontroller board project and with the assistence of AI created a fully customizable OpenSCAD model. The tray has a snap-fit joint lid and an opening for a single connector.

The default model is made for a board of 31 x 14 mm but with the SCAD project file attached following parameters are configurable:

• board dimensions

• board clearance

• connector opening position and dimentions

• enclosure wall thickness

• rounded corners radius

• board pins height and position

• snap-fit joint lip

• opening notch 

OpenSCAD is a free software that's easy to use and supports STL or 3MF files export.

Note: The snap-fit may end up being too loose or too tight depending on the print settings and material used so fine tuning may be necessary.
