If your X + hotend cable flows pretty well and you don't see a need for a cable chain, but just need the cable to route downward instead of outward to save on space or prevent interference, you can use this clip.

Tested on Neptune 4 Plus. Should work fine on 4 Max. Probably will not fit on 4 / 4 Pro, and even if it does, it may make the cable too tight.

Print 3-4 walls, 3 top/bottom layers. Print flat. Do not use supports. Use flush cutters to remove the baked-in supports.

You will need 2mm longer screws. I think this would be M3x8mm needed.

 

UPDATE 20250908: I have been having issues with these breaking when printed with ABS due to the weak tabs. So I re-designed this to screw into the endcap instead. You'll need 1x M3x6 to M3x12 bolt to attach. If you want to try this version, use the REV3 model.
