Introduction

This organiser is helpful for sorting out your screws, by storing them in compartment boxes which can then be mounted onto the wall. The design also includes space in the front to label what screws the box hold, making it an easy storage solution to save lost screws.

The design takes into account the usage of material while keeping a minimalistic and slim appearance. Its designed as such that little supports are required to print, so long as all the files are printed in the correct orientation. The design also means that the process from start to finish can take as little as 4 hours on an ender 3 printer.

Recommended Print Settings

• Layer height is set to 0.2mm
• Set infill to 20%
• Set the number of walls to 3
• Turn on supports (for the holes in the print)
• Allow brim for bed adhesion

Parts/tools required

• Two M3 x 30mm screws per row
• A Drill/screwdriver
• Plastic glue

I've included rods of different sizes, designed to hold different amounts of boxes. They are labelled with a ‘U’ in the end, with 1U corresponding to 1 unit capacity.

Instructions

1. Insert the lid and the base of every box through the rod. Make sure the lids are between the ends of the base, where the lid goes.
2. Apply glue into the screw ends where it joins the rod and wait until dried
3. When the glue is dry, use the screws to screw the rod into the wall.

This model has been designed with the consumer in mind, so it will be easy to print and easy to build, requiring little know-how.
