The Jobo CPE2 (old model - 24v strait motor) I bought had a dead motor (I did not know), the replacement would be around 235€ plus shipment which would be too expensive for me. After some research I got a motor from Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005428693573.html - as the CPE2 Plus runs at approx 75rpm I got a the 24v 76rpm motor and it works fine with film at its slowest setting (paper print is said to be using the 2. setting).
After testing it, running it at 76rpm produces bromide stripes, getting a motor which runs at 60rpm fixed it.
I then got a 6mm shaft extension (look at at your local hardware store (thing which connects two shafts) and a 6mm shaft which I cut down to approx 37mm (you have to measure it your self).
The Motor Rest is optional, and does not fit fantastic well, try it out if you feel like.
This is the original motor: https://www.smolka-berlin.de/onlineshop/en/artikel/SWF_VALEO_NIDEC_ITT_402.506_spur_gear_motor_24V_DC/4389 with the replacement listed below.
Update (2026.02.12):
- I no longer have the CPE, can there for not help with more information than provided here.
- The storefront for the Aliexpress shop states that it is on vacation (https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1102742315), I do not know of anywhere else to get the motor I used.
