I had just ran out of ethernet boots, but I had plenty of flexible filament so I decided to model my own in a parametric form so I no longer had to order boots based on cable size.
I tried to make the model as grippy as I could by adding various cuts around the strain relief, and on the back side of the connector.
If you need to make modifications, and have the label update correctly, you will need to change the "Font File" to use the included font under "Other Files/Font Files/". See the image bellow for reference.
Extract the ttf file and place it in the same directory with the "Ethernet_Boot.FCStd" file.
Update the "Font File" location within the FreeCAD document.

After updating the "Font File" path, you can now set the model's parameters inside of the "Values" table.
Remixing is welcome. FreeCAD file included!
