My wife has a German kit for making straw stars. It is on the larger side, and she wanted a smaller one. I printed her a model I found here or elsewhere, but she found it difficult to use. It's a basic shape so I decided to make one with some improvements, namely:
the tines on the form are thicker and resist flexing
the knobs on the clip extend to the top of the tines so that it's easier to grab and pull back out of the form
In the pictures, my version is printed in white, while the red one is a 55mm form that came with the kit. Also included are photos of the star my wife made using this.
Print in any old PLA with settings of your choosing. You may have to experiment with scaling the outer ring +/- 1-2% depending on your material's shrink factor. Using Creality's white Hyper PLA I had to scale the base by 2%, for example. I designed this to be a tight fit.
