I wanted to minimize the space my laptop eats up on my desk. Main problem was that the laptop is only connected by USB-C to my monitor and it is not possible to power it up when the lid is closed. This stand gives me just enough room to reach the powerbutton. Maybe you need to rescale it, depending on the thickness of your fingers ;)
