I've long wanted to print a keyboard case for my PocketCHIP and now years later I finally pulled it together with the help of some great models.

A few years ago I compiled MiniVMac for the PocketCHIP so it included AppleTalk networking (LToUDP) and since then it's made a neat little Mac hand-held. These parts help further the illusion of a tiny handheld Macintosh.

I printed the models face-down using a smooth PEI plate to get the best flat surface. I used Polar Filament's “Retro Platinum” so it closely matches a vintage Mac.

For the keycap glyph legends, I printed them onto waterslide paper using an ordinary laser printer. To cut them out, I used a simple hole punch I had in my drawer that perfectly matches the 6mm key tops.
