These risers are designed for my bed frame, which is a Zinus Abel Queen-sized bed frame. These risers might also be suitable for similar bed frames of other sizes and brands, but I can't confirm that. I've included the dimensions of three models and the dimensions of the bed frame legs.
For the Queen-sized Zinus Abel bed frame, you need 4 corner blocks
Your bed frame may require different combinations. You should check the legs of your bed frame to see if they are compatible in terms of size and shape, and the number of each type you need.
Although the market promotion of this bed frame claims a height of 14 inches, the actual clearance height is slightly lower, around 12 inches or 30.8 centimeters.
These height boosters add 5 centimeters
There are three models suitable for the three different bed leg systems on this bed frame. In theory, you can just use the corner blocks for all the bed legs, but they might easily slip off.
When printing these height boosters, you need to use at least 4 layers for the walls, 4 layers for the top/bottom, and a 15% infill rate to ensure they're strong enough. I used regular PLA, which seemed to be sufficient. If your bed has a high weight capacity
I strongly recommend removing the mattress from the bed frame when installing these height enhancers, as it's very difficult to lift both the bed frame and the mattress to install them together.
*Please note that moving the bed frame on the floor may cause the corner blocks to slip. Perhaps sticking a piece of acrylic tape on the inside could solve this problem.
This model is open to adaptation to improve its design.
